Where did the rock stars go? I mean, how long since we had a real rock star? No, don't say Linkin Park or Jonas Brothers. Or Muse. I don't even know the name of their frontman.
I'm talking of the likes of Freddie Mercury and Marc Bolan. I know we still have legends like Mick Jagger, David Bowie and Paul McCartney, but heck, it seems like the age of charismatic rock stars is over. Is the music-business to blame? Geniuses aren't really appreciated like they were before; for me it seems like anyone can become so-called "rock-stars" these days.
A dying race maybe? Oh well, the real legends lives on in their music. And all I can do is hope; hope for the rise of another generation of thriving rock stars and legends.
